Ensequence, the interactive television company, announced today that more than 50 Blu-ray titles have been developed using its Create software. Dozens of titles are released each month using the software, which enables creative teams to quickly and easily design and develop interactivity for Blu-ray Discs without requiring advanced knowledge of Java and the BD-J specification.

"Ensequence Create software enables our production teams to create a wide range of interactive experiences in a fraction of the time that it takes with Java programming methods."

Explosive Blu-ray Growth
Sales of Blu-ray Discs are exploding, with market research firm Futuresource forecasting a 400 percent increase in sales this year, and predicting that half of all consumer spending on video discs will go to Blu-ray Disc by 2012. This tremendous growth makes Create software's drag and drop authoring environment, complete Photoshop integration and Blu-ray Disc wizard even more valuable to studios and authoring houses looking for a faster and more affordable way to produce interactive content for their Blu-ray Discs. Ensequence Create software provides robust Blu-ray Disc capabilities out of the box, including full control over target video content such as angle, audio and stream switching. The software also provides performance-optimized functions with benchmarking for animations and image scaling, one-click creation of image fonts with built-in kerning capabilities and many more production enhancing functions.
Ensequence recently integrated Create software with Sonic Scenarist, making it even easier for developers to create interactive Blu-ray titles. With the existing integration with Sony's Blu-print, Ensequence is now integrated with both industry leading Blu-ray authoring solutions.
