Yeah - I guess the same people didn't have enough of being dead wrong last year so they want to continue to be dead wrong going into 2009.

I was there last year, believed all the Warner promises that they would stay neutral etc. And hell yeah, i wanted it to be true as well, so i ignored the warnings about 'corporate speak'.

After getting my 'cul' ripped open later on, i am now taking all these statements with a rather giant grain of salt, regardless if they are positive or negative btw.

The same, back then HD DVD was IMO the far more appropriate HDM format. But in retrospect, it doesn't really bother me in the slightest and damn... has it been awesome to buy £2.99 HD DVDs for the best part of this year!

Warner knew that this statement would travel all across the net like wildfire. I'm sure it was code to Sony to "show us some love". By love I mean "money".
