They deleted a thread I posted about Blu-Ray's future (similar to the one I posted here). Are they that sensitive?

If you think they are sensitive now, you should have seen them last year!

I've only posted once there. It was a question to the hardware insider about CPU speeds on future players. Never went back for a response. From what I've heard, it's like Nazi Germany, only with BD logos instead of swastikas.

BD.com and HDD.com both very moody and pricky (is that a word?) moderators. I tried HDD for a few months before this forum and they will ban you for just about anything. If you don't praise BD on HDD or BD.com you get a warning or a ban or both, which is why I don't bother with either site's forum.

I've posted on BD dot com for a while now and never had any trouble. Good discussions of the pros and cons of media.

Does anyone think some of the moderators at Blu-Ray.com are pricks?
No. In over 300 posts at BD.com i never had any trouble, but of course i didn't look for it. ![]() btw i have reported this thread with the following reason Quote:
BD.com has a feedback forum, where you can whine Last edited by Nikopol; 07-02-2008 at 02:20 AM. |

Agreed Hatt. What the owner says, goes. Don't like it? Find another forum.

Sure there is, Just not at bluray.com. And to answer the question, the blu ray dot com nazi's are pricks. That site singlehandedly convinced me to buy HD dvd. I will buy a BD player at the holiday sales but I will never be like most of those aholes.

Yeah I don't spend as much time at AVS anymore at all. When I do go over there, it's to educate myself, but I never post. I don't think I've posted on AVS in over 2 yrs. They've got some great info, and some extremely educated posters, but not anywhere near as much freedom as there is over here.

The only poster I really like is Mr.D Can you believe they banned the DTS insider? Dressler must have put in a PM to the admins saying "him or me". Dolby is crappy like that.
