On the PS3, you hit Square and bam top menu.

And with the new bookmark feature, pop the disc in long as you left it on the top menu, bam top menu!

Bam!
I'm not an owner, but I've used. and you can skip, but only V E R Y S L O W L Y. This is on an old 1.0 player though.

That sucks. Once I learned that the Square button takes you straight to the Top Menu, of course it won't skip the FBI warning, I just slam it.

I don't think I've seen a trailer on either BD/DVD since I started using my PS3 for movie watching.

And on HD DVD, I'd always turn it on, pop the disc, then walk away and get snacks ready which usually takes me a while since I make the popcorn fresh!

Sure, the ring tones that go with the songs from the movie. I mean that's all I want is a theme song for my ring tone that was from a Disney animated movie.

Pretty much. All of the extra struff that I wanted for movies came with 1.1, but at the same I wanted a Blu-ray player that was future proof through the end of BD's life. That's why I went with the PS3 even though I have only played 3 games on it.

The BD mantra, "Just Wait!"

One day you'll get to the "BEYOND," part of the BDA's, "BEYOND HIGH DIFINITION" Marketing slogan!
