Default Six Classic Bond Titles To Hit Blu-ray this October

Damn, with this and the Dirty Harry series....its shaping up to be an expensive year!

Courtesy of High Def Digest:

MGM/Fox today officially announced the first next-gen release of a half-dozen James Bond catalog titles, which will hit Blu-ray this October in newly-remastered special editions.

Spanning several Bond eras (and lead actors), the six titles due to hit Blu-ray on October 21 (day-and-date with new DVD re-issues) include: 'Dr. No,' 'From Russia with Love,' 'Thunderball,' 'Live and Let Die,' 'For Your Eyes Only,' and 'Die Another Day.'

This is funny, every other thread talks about the limited catalogs available and more catalogs are announced and the studios are milking people.

I only have one or two Bond movies already on DVD, so I'd love to have them on BD.

I never purchased any of the Bond films on SD DVD because I refused to pay the astronomical amount of the boxsets they came in.

You joined the cry baby brigade too? Constantly? I see far more posts about SRT than the limited titles.

You guys need something else to hang your hat on. The fact remains that there IS limited titles being released on BD vs DVD. It has been proven that catalog titles don't sell well.

Fact remains, BD isn't living up to my expectations which is my proragative.. You have shown that you worship it.. which is your proragative.
