You guys need something else to hang your hat on. The fact remains that there IS limited titles being released on BD vs DVD. It has been proven that catalog titles don't sell well.

Fact remains, BD isn't living up to my expectations which is my proragative.. You have shown that you worship it.. which is your proragative.
I thought all new releases were being made in both formats, what happened?

I believe most are.

As to the OP, I love the Bond flicks and will be picking these up. These are made for true HD!

Who cares who prefers which product? Does it make them a bad person? Can't any topic in this forum be discussed without it becoming a personal attack?

So then how do you explain this comment? I'm a little confused.

They are releasing all new movies in both formats, and at the same time trying to release older catalog titles that would be most popular and that may sell. If it's been proven that catalog titles don't sell well, why would they bother releasing all of them? Who would buy them?

You can always use your BD player to upconvert the older catalog titles that you already own on DVD or buy the bargin bin DVDs that aren't being released in BD because they wouldn't sell.

I fail to see the problem.

Hello!!?? Wake up... How many titles are on BD? 600? WOW..How many titles are on DVD? 10's of thousands? Do I expect all titles to be on BD? No... I stand behind my statement... but that is only my opinion. Obviously many here feel that BD is doing great. We all have our opinions

I really get a kick out of Blu ray, but I don't worship it. And I don't feel the need to bash HD DVD. I think that is balanced

Darren you are a "friend of ours". I think the re-enactment b.s. that went on today heated things up a little too much.

And yes, i worship Blu. The discs, not the sh!te around them. But like i said i have them cleaned and strip bare naked on the hdd, so i worship the good parts and give the finger to the bad sides. (that sounds wrong )

In all fairness, DVD had a little bit of a headstart.

I may not agree , but I respect your opinion.

I never said it was srong to "worship" (using worship was a strong word on my part)... but it livened things up a bit. No animosity was intended. You should see the ceremony I perforn when UPS leaves my a Blu gift on my doorstep.. it involves candles, plastic and pure virgin olive oil....

I have servants bringing me the discs to my desk, where they are carefully opened with a dedicated knive (Benchmade), inspected, cleaned and then set up in front of my monitor for the rest of my work day so me and my collegues can admire them, until they ride home with me to receive their initiation ritual in the htpc.

My name is Niko and i have a problem

Stew, you're awesome. Going back to this 3rd DVD issue, I thought they already remastered the Bond movies for the 2nd release? How many times can they remaster a movie?
