Yes, because I want to see a DVD demo. Not a demo comparing SR'ed static images. I want to see the output of a SR DVD player, preferably compared to a normal DVD player and a bluray player. And once again, this all started by me refuting what Deja Vu "thought" I said - i.e. I am stating that I have never said what he "thought" I said. That is why I asked him to find where I said what he "thought" I said, becuase I am pretty sure I never said it. Get it?

Can you find me a link regarding real time DVD playback? Cause that is all I care about. And I believe I am on record as stating such. I want to see how this stuff works with a real life DVD.

We do not know what the source material that was used for the demo in Europe. It was not listed in any of the articles.

Odd, why do the computer sites I frequent avoid the Cell unless IBM sticks it into a Roadrunner. Haha.

Is this thing being aimed at the PC gamer crowd or just the old foggies with their HTPCs?

I've dug in there. There more of a troubleshooting Group then a discussing bleeding edge and marginal differences but worth the money syndrome. Haha.

I'll look it up when I get home. If it does DX10/OpenGL2.0 out of the box I'm picking one up.

Bench it again the 4870 and the GT280...yum, going to be a fun but expensive summer.

There's no way that card will fit into anybody's PCs. That is a device made for a rack-mounted industrial workstation.

It would fit on any ATX mobo specifically the new 3x16x lane PCI-E mobos.

Use the bottom most PCI-E lane, and remove (if removeable) the bottom 3.5" bays.

If people can fit condesors, water pumps, and radiators into computers they can easily fit this beast. Anyone know the measurements?

Comparing it to a 9800 GX2 (the current longest single slot GPU solution) it only seems a tad a longer:

and these things fit, while snug, in the first 2-PCI-E lanes which are up against the middle lower 5.25" bay and the middle often non-removeable 3.25" bays.

This beast would definately fit in a standard ATX case, hell look at the image they used:

this is definately out of his league.

Here Lee, since I realize you have a hard time reading I brought some pictures for you:

3xPCI-E Mobo, bottom slot (farthest right PCI-E on that image) will be flush with the bottom of a standard ATX case:

And on the front of this, bottom, you can see the removeable 3.5" bays.

So unless this card is about 2 feet long, I'd say there is plenty of space on a standard ATX case.
