Default How much do you know about HDD Player

HDD Player is actually for the abbreviation of Hard Disk Player. It’s the update of removable hard disk and also the replacement of DVD Player. (Note: It’s illustrated only about HDD Player in the article, MP4 Play not included.) It currently refers to removable HDD Player when people mention HDD Player. HDD Player, allows you to move files from removable hard disk to TV or Monitor. Of course, it must be used altogether with removable hard disk. At present, the latest HDD Player does not only support to play on the computer (VGA port is essential), but also on the common TV. It’s very popular due to the two mentioned features.

How large is the HDD Player’s capability? It depends on the capability of Hard disk. We can take a movie of VCD formats for example. One disk at 1G can store 100 minutes long movie. Nowadays, HDD Player can support up to 750G Hard disk. (Tips: Hard disk can be separated into two types. SATA and IDE. The known size is 2.5” and 3.5” in the market. We often see that Desktop computer has been connected to 3.5”, laptop computer 2.5”). Some HDD Player supports both SATA and IDE, but some only supports one of them. In addition, with respect to the famous brand about Hard disk, there are Seagate, IBM, Hitachi, Samsung, Maxtor, etc. You can choose appropriate hard disk according to yourself demand.

HDD Player can support almost all video formats and audio formats. Common HDD Player can support MP3, MP4, VCD, DVD, Divx, Xvid, WAV, Flash, all kinds of pictures, files of different formats. However, the advanced HDD Player can support to play RM, Flv format files from Internet such as Coupoint CP-808N. For Youtube video lover, Coupoint could offer you unexpected surprise.

HDD Player has also recording function besides playback. It means that you can record the live programs as computer or TV program advances according to the pre-set parameters. For example, you miss some matches or TV series live playback time or just want to appreciate them again, at this point, and then you can record those missed match or TV Series with the help of HDD Player recording function. It’s often called time-shift.

Concerning the HDD Player application, it can be applied on home, car and other place. However, with respect to car HDD Player, it does not have playback function, but also FM, Karaoke, navigation, etc. For people who regularly use removable hard disk, there is no wonder that HDD Player will bring the most convenience for them. The way to input files into HDD Player most time is through copying from computer. But you can also input files into HDD Player directly through Internet, CD. U disk, MP3 and MP4. Recently more and more AV stores are specializing in the HDD Player business. Perhaps because of HDD Player widely application, it can also support AV store’s development.

HDD Player can be inserted into SD/MMC/MS card. And it also allows to be inserted into Multi cards in the meantime It’s essential to support USB 2.0. Some HDD Players can support OTG function, real-time copying function. All HDD Players support to copy files from computer. As the competition increasingly intensifies, HDD Player will have more and more advanced performance and features. Each manufacturer will launch out different products, so you need to look through the manual carefully when buying it. The famous brand in the market is Philip, Sony. But for most people, he can’t afford the high price. In this case, I recommend you an amazing Digital product with more advanced features but reasonable price: Coupoint CP-808N (Wifi available)

We have no "delete" option here at HDF. And the EDIT option expires after 30 minutes.

So just report it yourself - explain you are new and made an and ask that the thread be pulled.

For any TV with HDMI port, the hard disk player can be connected to it well and we can get real high resolution image. I mean not 1080p, not 1080i.

So can this baby make use of torrent sites? Will there be a built in torrent client like uTorrent?

Ya know... because my friends and I share home videos with each other and uploading them to a torrent site is the least hassle

Yes, it can do it for you. As long as you can make right settings on your Router (You need to get IP address firstly from the Coupoint CP-808N), then you can build a FTP server. So your friends can download those home videos from FTP server although you are not in the same LAN . In addition, you can download other video or audio resources directly from Internet with CP-808N. Thanks^_^
