That survey is utter crap though. Its far too small a segment.

For a decent survey, they should survey cable customers that subscribe to HD.

Unfortunately that could be a very small sample also since most people with HDTVs do not even get real HD content/sources to watch on them.

its a good reminder that polls and survey's are not gospel,but some take it as that, gospel truth.
also the people behind these polls may have an agenda,pro or con.
but they are interesting.

They usually do and that's the problem. Take any of these things with a grain of salt because tomorrow there will be another with completely different results.

Just read the title to the poll. Most people who came across this will read nothing more than "but Consumers Don’t Buy it". They'll see it as in people see something wrong with BD and move to the next article. When you read the title did you see it as positive or negative?

No doubt, I totally agree with what you are saying now that you bring it up. A few poster commented about there being a lot of bad news lately and referenced this article as well. Only if you look at the numbers it shows something else. Even though the numbers aren't bad the sensational title does give the article a negative tone out of the gate. I see the word "ONLY" used several time. I think if you put "only" in front of 99% people would think "I read 'only 99%' of the people liked the movie, that's too bad, guess it just wasn't meant to be."

HD-DVD is dead so we all can stop comparing anything to HD-DVD. As for the survey, it really doesn't matter. We will eventually see if BD will take off at current prices. I don't know about anyone else but I am willing to wait until price drops enough. That's just me though.
