8 days ago they were talking like JR was a total wash because he didn't win the 500 and got taken out in the second race. I do think he needs a slightly taller gear during the restarts, he seams to be able to spin those wheels a little too easy.

Yes I watched it. I really thought he might win it the way he was running in the first 50 or so laps. I'm just glad he is running in the top 5. I am a big fan of his dad's, I like JR. I wish he would have done better with DEI. He is a good driver but I don't think he can drive like his father. Its kinda like being a Richard Petty fan and rooting for Kyle Petty. I like the sport in its older days. I don't have a problem with "Rubbin is Racing" attitude. If they crash on the last lap and get into a big fight in the infield after the race, I don't have a problem with that.

Heehee, I have very fond memories of my 19" color set hand-me-down from my granny, built at a time when they put an rgb decal on the front so you knew it was color, and also my ancient little 11" black and white set on which I watched lots and lots of Are You Being Served, Red Dwarf, and whatever other Britcoms I could get on PBS. The kind where when you switched the picture off it would squish to a horizontal sliver, then shrink into a dot that would linger for thirty seconds.

I picked up those seats fairly cheap at a furniture celaring house called The Dump for about $800 for real leather. I had to order a coupel of parts to make them work.
