Well that's thoughtful. I'm sure he will grow up with spoiled eyes and never be able to stomach looking at SD content again! Haha.

Did you get Cars yet? I heard the PQ is amazing, and from the demo's in the stores it seems to be top notch. Just curious if it is just as stunning as the demo's throughout the whole movie though.

Cars IMO is top notch all the way through. Each scene blows me away with the clarity. Only time that I'm not amazed by the picture is when the actual story grabs my attention (which is also great if you haven't seen the entire movie yet.)

I bought it soon after it was released, and it is Absolutely fantastic. Great PQ and AQ. I also got him Happy Feet, Dinosaur, Ice Age, Pixar and Ratatouille (fantastic PQ & AQ).

Well in that case, i'll have to pick Cars up myself here on my next stop for movies. I haven't seen Pixar or Ratatouille yet though. Maybe i'll check them out. I don't buy the animated movies as much, as I don't have kids. They are still nice to have in the collection though for demo material, or for if my much younger brother is over.

I'd also recommend both Chicken Little and Open Season for the little ones. Just amazing PQ, and both are movies that you can still enjoy with them.

I would recommend Cars and Ratatouille for show and tell. Both will show off your HT. Pixar is only short clips, that all that impressive, IMO.

I'll check out Chicken Little and Open Season.

Ratatouille is just a good movie period. PQ aside. IMO it is Pixar's best flick.

Cars and Ratatouille are indeed enjoyable movies. Wife and I enjoyed them as much as the kids.

Sell the SS Faceplant, buy a 1080p projector. The biggest screen on the forum, and it's 720p. Makes a man cry.
