[quote=Chris Gerhard;535528]300,000 with HD DVD drives in computers? I thought Super XP stated the number was 5,000,000? Does anybody believe more than a million players are needed for 10,000,000 HD DVD's? Should China build 9,000,000 HD DVD players so everybody can have one player for each disc? China isn't going to build HD DVD players and the Chinese CH DVD has been dealt a death blow as well. China is going to be manufacturing Blu-ray players.

I'm afraid that once Paramount and Universal goes blu-ray exclusive, then HD-DVD will become "obsolete".

Well, yes this will most likely happen, but Paramount already stated they are going to continue to make HD DVD movies along side Warner for the time being seeing there is a huge demand for them.

Not sure about Universal though?

I know Toshiba said they will maintain the HD-DVD players, I just hope they really do for long time, espesially the FW.

Are you kidding me? Alright, seriously man, can you not understand a bit of sarcasm across tonight? Your obviously a bit naive to think that a bit of dark humor constitutes me being on any medication, much less being off said medication, despite neither being true.

Lets get back on topic now.. before this gets a little more out of control.
