It amazes me that BD players "given away" with HDTVs get counted as a sale. .. it just seems manipulative to me... but, nothing makes sense to me anymore.
I just learned that the HD DVD players on the top of the list at Amazon mean nothing cuz 2 BD player way down the list may have sold more collectively!

The BD fans are right that their arguement could be the case, it could also be that the HD DVD fans argument is also correct.
Why the hell are we arguing over it when without solid concrete actual figures there is no way of ever knowing? I'd sooner piss in the wind.

Not necessarily. The closer an item is to number 1 the figures jump almost exponentially, especially when you consider that in all electronics sold HD DVD is WAY up there on the list, but Blu-ray is not.

Don't let them wind you up, the longer they chest beat while HD DVDs are still being produced, the more stupid they look.

Excellent point, Mike. While they are busy saying how desperate and all these HD DVD players are clearance priced, they are selling and Tosh is making more of them... hmmmm
