Then he is Delusional FUD spreader to say the least. How is HD DVD dead when there is over 1+ million Stand Alone players in the masses along with another reported 5+ million HD DVD based notebooks in the masses which should top upto 8+ million after Q4 2008

Even though Blu-Ray has more Studio Support, HD DVD still has the BALLS to release HDM Big Time...

HD DVD:
DreamWorks
Paramount
Universal
Weinstein Company

Blu-Ray:
20th Century Fox
Disney/Buena Vista
Lionsgate
Sony Pictures/MGM/UA
Warner Bros.

It amazes me that BD players "given away" with HDTVs get counted as a sale. .. it just seems manipulative to me... but, nothing makes sense to me anymore.

I just learned that the HD DVD players on the top of the list at Amazon mean nothing cuz 2 BD player way down the list may have sold more collectively!

The BD fans are right that their arguement could be the case, it could also be that the HD DVD fans argument is also correct.

Why the hell are we arguing over it when without solid concrete actual figures there is no way of ever knowing? I'd sooner piss in the wind.

Not necessarily. The closer an item is to number 1 the figures jump almost exponentially, especially when you consider that in all electronics sold HD DVD is WAY up there on the list, but Blu-ray is not.

I think where arguing over this because we are just sick and tired of all the Blu Boys coming in and telling us HD DVD is dead (AGAIN) just like last year. I think it is safe to say HD DVD is NOT DEAD!!!!!

Don't let them wind you up, the longer they chest beat while HD DVDs are still being produced, the more stupid they look.

Excellent point, Mike. While they are busy saying how desperate and all these HD DVD players are clearance priced, they are selling and Tosh is making more of them... hmmmm

Dude. You GOTTA stop listing Weinstein. I'm pretty sure they are done with HD until this whole mess gets sorted out.
