You guys are men after my own heart. There are leg men . . and then there are chest nuts.

Did I ever catch fish today:

2 Large mouth Bass
2 Large Blue Gills
1 Bow Fish.

Mr. Fisherman caught:

2 large mouth Bass
1 very good sized Peacock Bass
1 Gar (P.U.)
1 Sunfish

We went to fishing heaven . . . Bass Pro Shop in Ft. Lauderdale . . . WoW! They had EVERYTHING - and then some. No more Wal-Mart for me. Make less trips - buy more stuff.

I gave Mr. Fisherman his birthday present early - $50 for a new Plano tackle box, 4 new lures and a bunch of worms.

I am trying something new called a flipping tube (new to me at least) - meh - I am just not into rubber . . . except Swim Baits which I have fallen in love with.

And they had some VERY impressive reels - from $100 all the way up to $1100! ( ) We spent 2 hours there. The place was packed and this store is HUGE!.

I have my eye on a very nice Quantum reel to go with my Ugly Stick.

This is WORSE than HD movies on disc!

Lee flippin tubes are great if you rigg them right. They will catch fish when most nothing else will. I love them, especially black/red flake. I have even rigged them backwards to get finicky fish to hit.
I went to BassPro in Springfield MS. it is paradise. It was so big that I went back the next day to finish looking around. Last of the real men stores.
I tried to warn you that fishing was addicting.

The only thing I catch when I go fishing is a buzz.
