God what memories, I think my sister still has photos albums my Mom made and old recordings. Wow I'm older than dirt, but in my mind I'm still 30

Awesome Rizz - what part did you have in the bands? I played drums and sang in high school and we had a little local band and played parties on the weekends. Lot's of fun.

We would obviously do covers - but late in the evening, we would break out my written songs, which were a half spoken, improvised bit of nonsense in tradition with The End by the Doors. Me and one other guy would just get ripped and I would write lyrics and he would improvise riffs on keyboard. We would record all the time....then we'd wait till next day when we were coherent and pick and choose which ones to record on tape. We had a great time. Long live the late 70's..... Bongs, hash under glass....what great times.

I played rhythm guitar I had a Les Paul gretsch that my uncle bought for his son who never used it and I had a Fender stratocaster I bought in 1957 for 160.00 new From Sam Ash Music Stores ( today it's worth about 15-16K ) I sold it when I got out of the army for about 175.00(1963) if I only knew and the Les Paul is worth about 25K my uncle bought it for his son I think it was 1950 or 51 it stayed in his closset in a case til My Mom got him to sell it to me for $100 but it was a big body guitar and I loved the stratocaster it was "The Rock N Roller's axe" at that tiome and still is today.the first experience with drugs (Refer) was being handed a joint by one of the Cadillac's in the basement of the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY at a RnR show about 20 minutes before we were supposed to play what an experience, phew it was a challenge, but I survived they were laughing their ass's off at me. I was Fk'd up.

Man Rizz, You've had a hell of a life. No one can say you never lived.. If all the guys at HDF bar and grill ever got together it would be one hell of a good time.

That's why the internet is so awesome. I mean, it pulls different folks together in an instant. That being said - it would be quite a feat to get everyone together in person. Hell - I'd rather do that than have a class reunion...

Hey Rizz. What's up? I had a meeting this afternoon at the University of Illinois plant breeding department. Just getting home.....as I stopped by Best Buy to drool over the Sony BD-S350. What a cool machine - but I refuse to pay $399. Yeah, yeah, I could buy it online for less. I just wanna see if they have a special on that particular model in the near future.

That sounds like fun Gos, my daughter is taking Agricultural Science at Marshall University here in WV. She loves plants and agriculture. I find it odd that a girl likes stuff like that. I tried to get her to go to WVU because the Ag. dept. is 100x better than Marshall's but she didn't want to leave home.
