Guys, since we are sitting at the bar tonight, I'm gonna have Sindy get us a couple cold beers if that is ok with you.

The basement of the house I'm in use to get leak before I moved in. I know this because it smells like freakin mildew and I wanna refinish it.

So come on man. What's the real on steam cleaning. I've really been thinking about it lately with summer here and me wanting to start on that basement.
If it smells it's still wet. I am certified in applied structural drying and water restoration. I suspect you have some leakage down there. RIP THE CARPET UP. After 72 hrs clear water has enough bacteria in it to be considered black water(sewage).

Well, it's actually rather dry down there. It smells like old dried out carpet. Maybe it never got wet and just stinks naturally

If there is water, I've never seen it or felt even a little moisture on my feet when walking around down there.(Gotta a killer bumper pool table for the kids. I play it more than them. I'm a bumper pool shark now. )

What's the convo about at this point?

From my skim I caught some fishing posts, a bunch of rib recipes that made me starving for dinner, and mytime possibly being James Bonds side kick.

Did I miss anything else?

It's all about start off really lightly. You want to get a good arc and a good bead before you even begin full time full contact with the material.

My dad made me learn to stick weld first, so I know it the best.

Doing good. I actually had a job offer today to work for an Internet Advertising company. Its very tempting. The salary pays much better than my current work, and its also on a commission structure which I love. Decisions, decisions.

Might just be humid. Do you have a dehumidifier down there? That would take care of that musty smell. Also if you have a pump up garden sprayer you can buy a liquid biocide and get rid of that dried out carpet smell.
