I think it's because all the kids are out of school and are on the internet.

. . . I caught a "monster fish!"

A Cobra Snakehead . . .

29" long and 15.2 lbs (I bought a tape measurer and scale at BPS - Yippee - I actually used something I bought there. )

It was a hell of a fight (10 lb test) and I had to get him out of the water and up onto land - a distance of 5 feet straight up - we were at the "golf course" and the canal section there is concrete walls on both sides. We have a net but it is a short handle kind.

Then Mr. Fisherman drove my dive knife into his brain and threw it in the bushes for the racoons to eat tonite.

Lots of fun . . . and lots of blood (YUK).

Beers on me!

No problems here, but I'm on my work's T1 connection.

Not sure. I still haven't had a chance to take it out and use it.

I am going down to the lake this weekend though. I will use it then and let you know how it goes.

I was using my son's BassPro Baitcaster this evening and wasn't paying attention and snagged a tree above me and backlashed the reel. Luckily I was able to pick out the backlash and saved my lure from the tree. I thought man I'm glad the guys at Hi-Def wasn't here to see that!!!
