New Rumor Mill!!!!!!! Must Read

Hello All, Ive noticed lately on these forums that there have been a lot of threads that have been started reporting wild rumors filled with baseless facts and quotes/links to blogs that were proberly written by 12 year olds. The worst part about this is that the people starting these threads are presenting them as FACT and not as the garbage that they are.There is one member of these forums that is particularly guilty of this but I dont want to name names. Therefore Ive started this thread where anyone can post any wild rumor they hear and they dont have to back it up with any proof whatsoever. Ive decided to call it the SUPER eXPlosive Rumor Mill.

Ok I'll go first,
I was walking home yesterday and I heard a cat whisper to a dog that Universal and Dreamworks are going Blu Ray exclusive on the First of February 2008. I heard it so it must be true!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard Disney, Lionsgate and co are all dumping Blu-ray next week.

Nintendo will include a HD VMD drive in a soon to be released HD version of the Wii.

Come September 2008 all major studios, except the Sony owned ones, will release HighDef movies on HD VMD only, dropping Blu-ray or HD DVD altogether, because of the p!ss-poor performance of these formats so far.

Software prices will be around $15 a pop.

I heard Toshiba is going to support DVHS and Sony found a way to put HD on 8 Track Player. However they admitted they are having problems with the video quality!

ok back to serious business. I have heard from an insider that something big can be expected on either Uni or Para in about a week which is about the end of the month or beginning of February. This is probably serious but as I don't have a smoking gun so to speak, this thread is the perfect place for it

Local news uses, most likely, .75-inch Beta, which has been around for what, 30 years? It's about dead, too, from what I hear...

Light a fire under their asses to upgrade to high def! There's nothing that annoys me more than the local news on the high def channels in standard definition with huge borders on the sides.

Man, I saw this guy on a Bud Light commercial and he can understand what all animals are saying. All dogs when they bark, they are saying.........SAUSAGE............SAUSAGE......... .......SAUSAGE!

Last night, when I was trying to talk to my cat, all she said was "meow" and then went-off and licked her butt. WTF! But I thought I heard her mumble Disney is going Neutral in the 3rd quarter of 2008?
