I'll keep mine. I don't think that Bourne1,2,3, Transformers, Shrek3 etc will be out on Blu-Ray for a while, even if Paramount and or/Universal goes neutral. (which I think WILL happen btw..)

I have stated before that even if HD DVD becomes obsolete my movies will continue to work while also looking and sounding great on my A3.. No reason to sell, trade, or give it away yet, well at least until physical HDM as a whole becomes obsolete..

I have noticed that since the WB announcement There are more ads on Craigslist for HD DVD players.. On the other hand I also have been seeing a lot BRD 1.0 players selling for very cheap also.. I Dont know if the HD DVD players that are being sold were spurred on by this announcement or not though to be honest.

I'm keeping my HD DVD player. It's the BEST upscaler I've ever had, even beats out my HTPC, so it's worth it just for the upscaling alone. Plus, HD DVD will always be around so I'll be able to watch my HD DVD collection.

If I ever get lucky and find a dirt cheap xa2, I might buy it just for the upconverting alone. I hear it even edges out ps3..

Yes, it truly does. The XA2 has some very nice Reon video processing chips in it. If you can find it under 500$, it's a deal compared to original MSRP of $999. Anything under $500 is a steal, IMO. Ask GLOW, that is why he won't give me his XA2!

I'm keeping mine and the movies.I will continue to buy HD DVD movies.Buying a blu-ray player isn't in the cards because I think their prices are waaaay to high will only go up from here unless 1 their exclusive's go neutral.

I'm not selling mine ever. I usually keep A/V equipment forever anyways ha ha ! I still have my first Atari, Coleco Vision, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, N64, 3 Xbox consoles, and my 30 yr. old Cerwin Vega speakers...all working.

BTW, Bruceames, I think your player is going to wear out dude, ha ha ! That is a shitload of movies man !

I'll keep my XA2 and my 90+ titles I have so far.

Absolute worst case if Paramount an Uni go Blue Ray exclusive today I'll will continue to add to my collection through bargain basement shopping.

I will wait a bit to hear from Toshiba on it is time to pick up a spare player in the secondary market....
