Not to take away from Ledger, but Depp should have played Joker. The results could have been an all-time classic performance. I was hoping they would cast him since the ending of BR.

Movie looks awesome. Ledger will be great. But I will still be left wondering what could have been.

I very much prefer Ledger over Depp in this role. It seems every movie of this nature ends up with the comments "Tim Burton should've directed, and Depp should've been in it". Although for Batman the Burton thing perhaps doesn't apply

I like Depp's work, but I'm glad it's Ledger here.

I saw the preview, looks decent, I think I'll just wait until it's out on HD-DVD to pick this one up. I don't really have much interest in watching a second run through of the same story again.

The only internet access I have connected to an HD display is my PS3. Is there a way to view this using the PS3? I don't know how to download and write HD to a DVD capable format either.

If you have Quicktime Pro, convert it "passthrough" to mp4 and it will play flawlessly on your PS3.

Yup, I can't wait 'til Warner goes BD exclusive and BD owners can watch it exclusively while HD DVD-only owners save up their pennies in order to buy a BD player
