I remember about 10 years ago when Apple made graphs like this to show how PPC processors were 5 times faster than pentiums, but if you examined it closer, not only was it an apples and oranges comparison, but the graphs were zoomed in to the top end and didn't start at zero. Sony is behaving in a very very familiar way...

 And a FEW of the blu-boys even have a sense of humor!  Truly, I thought they were all as jolly and fun-loving as those people in Sudan who thought that the female teacher ought to go before a firing squad for allowing her class to name a teddy bear "mohammed."
