Honestly, my SD Sony DVD player almost looked that bad with the movie. Probably the #1 factor is getting a HD-DVD Player, is transformers looked horrible on my new set.

The thread was started a few days ago for a few reasons. things had been getting out of hand with everyone defending their formats and discrediting the other guys in a negative way. I was guilty of it as well.

I thought it would be funny, and it has proven to be.

Probably the best example was a post from a user who was thinking about getting an HD-dvd player and was asking for advice. the 5th post was from a Blu-Ray Fanboy and it read "Why would you want to throw your money away on a failing format." It should have read "I think you should look at Blu-Ray as well and here are some of the benifits IMO..."

So please continue to leave the hate and the jokes and funny Pics here...the thread is not named wrong...leave the rest of the site fo possitive posting of information and advice.

You did the right thing and for the most part - it is working because both sides are adding to the thread.

Unfortunately we STILL have a few trolls here at HDF that absolutely must crap on any thread that isn't aligned with their format.
