Default HP order of the Phoenix -HD DVD- will have web enabled features

Looks like the HD DVD version will use the net to deliver extra features.

Quote:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is throwing a new wrinkle on the current list of web-enabled features when it hits HD DVD next month, as the Live Community Screening feature lets multiple owners watch together and chat during the movie. The host initiates the session by inviting other viewers -- no word on how many people are supported -- and synchronizes the viewing on all machines. Other features we've seen before like IME picture-in-picture track, favorite scenes and ringtone store also tag along, but we'll see if this Xbox Live-style community aspect is a hit with Potter aficionados December 11th

Apparently you will be able to use a computer, cell phone or the remote to chat. Love the movie, can't wait for it.

Does anyone know if the HP boxset will have combo discs or will they be HD DVD only?

These are the first compelling networking features If they continue a ideas like this then the prospects of mass adoption won't look so glim. Cheers the WB

I think with all the HP fans out there this could be big for them. Just think how much they would pay if they could join a chat group, sync all the players, start the movie, and have J.K. tell them BumbleBee, no wait that's Transformers, Dumbledurf is gay and what his true intent was during the current sceen. Then of course you can click on the "Buy an official HP wizard hat".
