Default My 10 Halloween HD Movie Recommendations (HD DVD & Blu-ray Disc)

I went through my discs tonight just to find my best Halloween stuff. If I had 20 hours free to sit and watch movies on Halloween this is what I'd watch -

1. Halloween (Blu-ray)
2. Bram Stoker's Dracula (Blu-ray)
3. Sleepy Hollow (HD DVD/BR)
4. An American Werewolf in London (HD DVD)
5. Scary Movie (Blu-ray)
6. The Thing (HD DVD)
7. Shaun of the Dead (HD DVD)
8. Day of the Dead (Blu-ray)
9. House of 1,000 Corpses (Blu-ray)
10. The Fly (Blu-ray)

Feel free to add your own recommendations to the thread

I'd just like to add a little known film called "Wolf Creek" (on HD DVD).

This is an extremely disturbing film set in Australia that is based on a true story.

Way better than a lot of the slasher, gorefest films that have come out in recent years.

I own wolf creek on HD DVD and have been waiting for Halloween to watch it. Now after your reply I am pretty stoked for it. I heard it was good from others too so it better be good!

P.s. On a side note, I am going to go see saw 4 tonight at 12:01am. Can't wait. Ill let everyone know how it is later. The saw series is great. I'm not a huge fan of overly gory flicks but the saw series is more of an intelligent scary movie IMO. 30 minutes left till I head to the theater! Bye.

My missus can't stand horror movies so I don't actually own any proper ones in HD yet will be getting the UK version of Land of the Dead when it's released on monday though.

Do have Shaun of the Dead as well so it's not all bad. Also really want the Dawn of the Dead remake as I loved the original. The Starz/Anchor Bay stuff is all region locked so I can't get hold of any of them yet

It's not a "good" film in terms of high brow movies but it's a boatload of fun if you're a gorehound looking for some retro B-movie-esque thrills

Pulse, the American remake? Blech. Have you seen the original Japanese one? It's pretty awesome.
