Default YES ! What a nice release.

Just got the all time classic " Trading Places" on HD DVD a few days back, and are happy to report that the quality is beyond belief. It looks very good and was very nice to watch again in this presentation. The soundtrack is very clear as well.

It made a hell off a difference when I finally found the 1080P button in the setup menu. Previously it was set to 1080i when comparing it to my blu-ray player. Still miss 24P though - and the uncompressed soundtracks of blu-ray. That said - on the posetive side: I like the uniform menu stucture being deployed on most HD DVD`s they load fast and are easy to use. On some blu-rays the designers try to be a little to creative meaning a mess to use...

LOL! Another one of those blind guys that think they HAVE to have 24p and lossless, just like BD has..
