That 2nd pic was funny. That is your typical municipal worker. Too damn lazy to do his job properly.

Hard to argue with, especially given the importance of these extra features as a *major* selling point for the studios.

Even if you're like me and you think "meh" at the idea of PiP or weblinks, picture yourself as a studio executive. You need people to keep buying movies on disc, especially the movies they already bought on DVD, but how to do that? Better picture and sound isn't enough, you have to add more value. Enter special features, a very important part of studios' strategies for selling product.

Little Stacies birthday:
Mummieeee, Daddieeeeee, *waaaaahhhhh* i canīt get the funny Nemo comments on my new Nemo bluerie to work. *waaaaahhhhh*

Frustration and agony for mum and dad ensues as they find out after hours of trying with the remote, that a little note on the disc (and the cover) says something about "needs 1.1 yadda-something".

Won't somebody please think of the children!?

Yup. I'm lucky to be surrounded by buildings or it could've been alot worse. I went up to visit my parents in the suburbs last weekend and they got torn the hell up. Branches everywhere, trees uprooted... a real mess.
