Definitely a great deal on a very good player.

Unfortunately due to circumstances that I am currently experiencing, I will have to wait till at least Black Friday or longer to pick up a BD player.

Man, that's a shame. This is the best time of year to buy - if you miss the deals now, you will have to just wait for a while longer then.

I mean, I really don't think we are going to see this player much cheaper on BF - this fully functional profile 2.0 name brand player with 7.1 analog outs for well under $200.

I mean, people wait all year for this time and if you are having bad circumstances around now that is just the worst timing for fellow electronics aficionados and HD movie lovers to be missing out on killer deals. If you miss out now you might as well just wait til next year....bummer.

My brother lives in Florida also and he says the economy is very depressed there right now. He is struggling too so you are not alone Lee. Get it when you can and don't squeeze yourself too thin for it. They will continue to go down in price most likely but the deals now will likely not be "normal" for at least another 6+ months if you cannot swing it now.

Good luck!

That is the truth.

And the circumstances for me are - I am leaving Florida in 8 days.

Your moving out of Florida or just leaving on a trip? Are you moving back up north if moving?

Yeah my brother says it is really tough down there right now.

So because you are moving you can't take advantage of a killer deal? Just pack it with the rest of your stuff. It will already come in its own box

Moving always has hidden costs and with Lee being on a fixed budget that would be foolish IMO for him to risk being caught short knowing his situation. If he says he is not comfortable with spending ANY money he does not HAVE to make, then that is HIS choice and only HE can make that choice.

You aren't kidding. Some expense always pops up on a move. Best of luck with your move Lee.
