Unhappy channel troubleshooting

I have a SamSung LN-T4061F. Recently in the channel list there are 19 pages of channel 8-1. I have run auto program, cleared scrambled channels, cleared favorites and channel lists. I am unable to manually delete any of the 8-1 channels. When this first occured I could only go past channel 8-1 by manually entering in channel 9 on the remote control. For some unknown reason I can now channel right past it. When using the remote control I can view all the available channels (approx. 70 channels), but when I go to add or delete in the menu, none of the channels are listed past 8-1.
Any thoughts?

Did this just show up? Assuming you are running cable directly to your tv did you only perform the 'autoscan'?

This started within the last month. First I noticed that the channel would not change past 8-1 and then when trying to delete the channel, I found the 19 pages of the same channel.
The cable is running directly into the tv. I have only tried the auto scan and delete of scrambled channels. One note when the the function of deleting scrambled channels runs, it stops at 75% which is where the 8-1 channel is.

I tried your suggestion. I uphooked the cable and ran the delete scrambled and it stopped at the 8-1 for about 10 minutes and then the TV turned off. I turned on the tv without cable and ran an auto program which followed by the delete scrambled channels and once again the process stopped at 8-1. When I view the channel listings the "cable" channels are showing in white and I can delete them. The "DTV" channels are also in showing in white except the 8-1 is showing in yellow print.
This is a mystery.

Strange. You could always unplug the Tv for a long time (like a week) and hope the memory that holds all those channels is wiped out by lack of power to hold the channels, but it is likely you would want to wait until you go on vacation to try this.

Meanwhile, you could just try unplugging it for an hour or so and see if that resets the TV.

Good luck!
