I'm guessing that he was one of Michael Jackson's "playmates" when he was a young lad.

He's probably suffering from a form of Stockholm Syndrom and so feels it necessary to defend weird Mike.

I guess that I am a bit more pragmatic. There were a hell of a lot more than 3 people that died, in the world and this country, this week!

Holy f'in LOL...

I just went through my massive vinyl collection and found the ORIGINAL PRESSING of "Thriller" and a handful of classic Jackson 5 LPs in mint condition along with Jackson's first LP "Off The Wall"...

May have to start cashing these in...

Again, OF COURSE there were -- but these three were celebrities and two were of "idol" status; perhaps all three. Perhaps I should have said "so disturbing how the FAMOUS have been dying off in one day and week..."

the thing is i haven't seen much about those stories in 2005
it just says all the people that thought he did wrong are
brainwashed on the times website or something
and i'm a girl not a guy.
and i'm still not fully believing michael actually has died
he was only 50 same age as madonna 50 is young
reminds me of Elvis he died young too

Then you are gravely and utterly misled...it's all over international news already. It's confirmed.

Do you think this was a "hoax" like Tupac Shakur?

I guess.

I live and work near Hollywood and many of, "the FAMOUS," that to me, are just well known and recognizable ordinary people, who do a widely recognizable job (entertainment) and get paid lots of money for doing it. Being this close to the Hollywood scene, fortunately or unfortunately depending upon your point of view, I am not as, "Star struck," as many others apparently are. I do see many of "the FAMOUS," in everyday situations, doing the same things at the same places that I do.

Personally, I find it quite a bit more "Disturbing," to both see and hear about people being killed by the government in Iran and Car Bombs killing the innocent, in the Middle East. David Carradines Death, was "Disturbing," to me, mainly due to the odd nature and circumstances in which he died.

So for me, death by natural causes or incurable disease is merely a unavoidable factor of our human Life an Death cycle. If Michael Jackson was 20 years old, and died from an apparent heart attack, or heart failure, I would be a bit more "Disturbed," regardless of his "FAMOUS-ness!" But that is just me and the way I see things!

To ALL of the families that lost one or more family members, this week or this year so far, FAMOUS or not, My Sincere Condolences!

Several sources have reported that news surrounding MJ's death came close to shutting the internet down. I heard that when it first started, Google panicked, they thought their site was under attack until they realized what was happening. The consensus is that his death generated more internet traffic than any other event, including 9/11.

I have an opened version of Off The Wall -- but it may be of a first pressing; I have to check...

If they're getting prices like THAT, I need to sell these things, even OPENED...
