Exclamation Calibration Help for KDS-55A2020...

I'm looking for some help for visual calibration on my home theatre. I have the following components:

1) Sony SXRD KDS-55A2020 DLP TV
2) Sony PS3
3) Motorolla DCT 6416 III DVR

a. Gaming/Blu-Ray/DVD is by PS3

b. Cable is usually watched on the HD Channels

Initally I'm impressed with out of the box picture but I went completely HD and want to get the most out of what I paid for. I'm using HDMI cables for both PS3 and my DVR with both feeding into their seperate inputs. These are used strictly for picture only. I have the fiber optics running to my reciever so I'm sqaured away on that. What are the settings I should have everything set on for optimal viewing expierence... settings for both basic and advanced?

Also for my DVR I got into the menu and faced more options. Is 720p better than 10801, which one? Also for the "480 Overide" should I use 480i, 480p or stretch mode?

And last can I use the same calibration for each input or should they vary because of different uses and the fact that my cable box can not output 1080p signals?

Your best bet is to purchase a DVD calibration disc like Digital Video Essentials to get improvements on your settings. Unfortunately, unlike the HD DVD format, I don't think they have a BD version of DVE but you can still use the standard DVD version.
