vehda anyone?

hi all, I hope someone can give me some advice. A company called vehda is offering a box of tricks which acts as a freeview, hd recorder and upscaler for all existing sorces for £10 a month. You can do a search for their web site that described the kit they offer. Is this a genuine product and will it actually work? Will it really make all my tv programmes, dvds etc into high def quality if pushed through this box? I dont know anything about HD but I wouldnt have thought that upscaling in this way would give real good quality high def pictures, as surely you are trying to make something hidef that never was to start with? Any advice would be a help!

The vehda box is manufactured by vehda they make a variety of high tech HD products. Vehda are also supply these boxes to play tv uk. This is a new company due to launch in september offering internet protocol tv (IPTV). Type playtvuk or vehda into google to find out more.

I have just landed a job at playTV as a sales agent. I will be making my first call tommorow. Yes you will be able to get all freeview channels then pay £10PM for each package; Entertainment, Movies and Sports. There is a movie archive of 80,000 films that you can browse and watch whenever you want. They also get a lot of films before sky get thier hands on them, for example Transformers is already on there. Sports consists of Satanta Sports 1 2 and 3, Eurosports and every single type of fighting there is as every fighting sport channel is owned by one company. And of course its all HD, the standard box is free with a monthly subscription, then there are 80GB and 160GB recordable models and the top of the range 160GB media model which converts anything you plug into it to HD! So all that is £30 a month plus i think £29.99 setup. You can buy a wireless keyboard to surf the web and a controller much like a ps2 controller because there is 400 free games available to play whenever you feel.

Anyway that's all i can remember for now, but it all sounds almost too good to be true! I couldnt believe what they were telling me. If this is all true then it will be far superior to sky. Ill keep you updated because there are loads of channels still to be confirmed and such as there will be a big launch in november i think.

Soft start was Feb 1st. Hard start is April 7th.

Now renamed as Something TV however be wary, the company that made the STB were struck off the company house register in March this year (CIMA Technology) and Satellite Direct (a ssiter company) went into liquidation last Thursday, all companys are linked and part of the Something Corporation, Play TV Uk, SatCover, Satellite Direct and Something Broadband too!!
