How can anyone watch standard def?

video titles releases? blu-ray & hd dvd when?
as title ? i read that 23rd may is a release date for the first players and titles ! can someone confirm? and is the uk to be later than usa ?

HD DVD launches as soon as March 28th. In the USA, that is. No-one knows when the European launch will be.
However, you can use American players in Europe. Just visit a travelling shop, they can sell you a 230V to 120V converter. You can already pre-order an HD DVD player, it will ship to you on March 28. Please do make sure your HDTV supports "American framerates", i.e. 23,976fps and 29,97fps. Imported HD DVDs will be useless if your tv only supports 25fps. Here's a release schedule: Quote:
