Default PLEASE...need help!

My friend needs to move his 52" RCA tv today or tommorrow and were not sure how the hell to do it.Can we lay it down safely?What if we bang it around a little bit?Our trucks are not that big(Explorer&Jimmy).I also have access to an Expedition but still not sure if it will go in there even laying down...any tips,please,would be very appreciated and it will be easier if you email at pdettore@verizon.net...........thank you

It will be safest to stand it up and don't lay it down. If you know if the unit has a mylar mirror then it could most likely be tipped without harm, but many have glass mirrors and some even just have the mirror laid in the mounts and can come loose in the cabinet. Other than the mirror, I can't think of any thing else that would be harmed by laying the set down.

Also you might call a local repair shop. Many will move a set for you for the same fee they charge for a trip to your house - about $50.
