Help. Sony XBR65HX950 vs Panasonic 65VT50

Hey guys wanted to maybe ask for some suggestions here. I am in the market for a new TV and looking to either get a Sony 65" XBR HX950 or the Panasonic 65" VT50.

I work for Best Buy and will get an insane discount on these TV's as the mark up is huge for our Magnolia Stuff and wanted to get some outside opinions on which to get. I feel for my money these are currently my two best choices.

I am leaning to the XBR currently but wouldn't mind other suggestions.

The XBR 65" is prone to DSE, banding and dead pixels the 55" is a better bet but, if your going for 65" then the Panny is a better bet.

What exactly is DSE? Sorry never heard of that. Is the 65" XBR really that bad of a choice and does it happen a lot?

Dirty Screen Effect and that's just what it sounds like. If you get a good XBR it can't be beat but theres another forum with XBR 950 owners and many of them sent their sets back several times and still had no luck getting a good one.
