Default 50" Kuro or 58" Samsung Plasma for same price?

Hey whats up, im new to this forum but from what iv read it looks like u guys know what ur talking about. anyway, i hus recently bought a 50" Pioneer Kuro from best buy as an open item for $1700, which i think is a pretty good deal, but they also have a 58" Samsung plasma for the same price and im jus wondering if u guys think id be jus as happy with the quality of the samsung compared to the legendary kuro and also have the bigger tv or if the kuros quality is that good that i should sacrifice the 8" screen difference? i have 30 days to return the kuro if i want so im leaving to the experts to tell me if i should or not. oh and all that stuff about room size and lighting and distance from tv can be changed so im only asking this as far as picture quality and blacks and stuff that has to do with the tv itself. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

scott

Personally, I would sacrafice the extra 8". The Kuro has superior PQ. The bigger size of the Samsung would make the difference even more glaring.

Again, just my

Comparing the Samsung to the KURO is like comparing T-Ball to Major League Baseball, they (Samsung) are not even in the same league...

Default Kuro

I agree. The Sammy doesn't even come close to the Kuro. It's like Loves2Watch said....they're in a different league. You got the best deal. Stay with it.

There are many brands of plasma/LCD screen cleaning kits sold by just about every place that sell TVs.

The best way to clean the TV and screen is with a soft microfiber cloth and if needed, dampened slightly. This assures no damage to the panel or screen.

DO NOT use any cleaning products on the KURO screen.
DRY microfiber cloth only.
If neccessary only use distilled water on the microfiber cloth.

I agree since it has an anti-glare coating that could be harmed using chemical cleaning products.
