Exclamation Connectivity Issues

I have a home theater system with the Direct TV receiver going into a Onkyo Home Theater Receiver with the output connected to a Panasonic Viera Plasma, all of the connections use HDMI.

Two years ago when the system was set-up everything performed perfectly. In the last six months the audio comes on as soon as the system is energized then the picture can take up to an hour to display. The audio and video will then function normally until the system is powered off.

I have gone through numerous checks of the connections, the programing of the AV1 and AV2 in the receiver to the input to the TV etc. with no luck.

Any ideas out there are greatly appreciated.

What happens if you bypass the Onkyo and run the Directv receiver directly to the TV?
