Question I need some help with my Panasonic HDC-HS9!

I just bought a used Panasonic HDC-HS9, it works almost in perfect condition except it does not come with the original HD Writer 2.5E software. So I downloaded the software from internet and then I found a problem, i could not connect the camcorder to the PC. I followed all the steps in the manual, but when I started the software and turned on the camcorder, it showed "THIS BATTERY CANNOT BE USED" on the screen, i've tried many times but still nothing happens. I do see some forum on the internet says there is some kinda setup stuff to do to select which model my camcorder is the first time run the software, but i dont see any manu like that in my trials.

I hope someone here can give some tips on it and I appreciate all your help! thank you very much!
