Default Im new to high def camcorders and cameras need help

I finally realize i need to step up as with everything else in technology and get a digital camera and a camcorder and now i see you guys talking bout the hd ones. Ok, are all digital camcorders and cameras hd? I know as for tv's and stuff the pictures you get going hd and is it basically the same when it comes to cameras and camcorders to where the picture comes out better, ect? If i know for years i should have possibly gotten a digital camcorder and camera and now i know i would be happy with them, will i possibly be happier just going ahead and getting the hd one and knowing i probably wont use the hd features much or at all? Whats the price differences between say digital cannon for $200 bucks vs a high def cannon?

Is it the same when they used to say as for vcrs and tvs dont buy both together because if the tv breaks then you're out of a tv and vcr type of deal so should you avoid getting both in one as far as the camera and camcorder? Any other tidbits i should know would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you're asking here, but digital is better than analog (mostly) and HD is better than SD. But not all digital is HD.

Only you know what makes you happy. Anything you shoot in HD today will always be in HD. You can't change SD to HD in the future.

Are you talking about a digital still cam or a camcorder? They're different. Prices are easy to check everywhere.

No, you should avoid getting both in one as multifunction devices end up doing nothing well. For HD video you need an HD camcorder. For good digital stills you need a good digital still camera.

Hi guy,
If you are going to purchase a camera or camcorder,I think you could get digital one.now most of markets are sell digital camera and camcorder.the price of that are not very cheap.so I think you are available for that.
could I recommend the china supplier for you.maybe they can provide you good quality and cheapest price.
If you are interested, you can search on the internet.
Good Luck for you!
