Aiptek Action HD camcorder

Thanks Dahur, actually my camcorder is a A-HD+1080p.
From everything I have read its basically the same camera/camcorder as the Action HD.
I got it at Amazon, free shipping!

I haven't been outside with it yet, but when I do I will post a pic, maybe even get one of those acounts that allows you to upload onto a site. Verizon is going to let me test their USB 727 Modem for 30 days. We should both post video, woo hooo!

Gymbrat: Which model did you buy? I saw one advertised at BB for $79. They have 3 models from the $79 to $179. I'm interested in one because it's small and when you want to capture a moment you can get it out of your pocket, eliminating a a case strapped over your shoulder.

Thanks Brat..that's the one in the middle of the three, seems like you've had success with it so far, I'll check them out this weekend at BB, the more expensive one is only available on line.

I just went to the BB site, and they do not have this camera!

Do not buy the Apiteks they have, they are over priced, plus they dont have the A-HD+1080P.
Go to Amazon, and get free shipping, no tax 149.00. Order it early mon morning, and you will get it Weds or Thurs. Let me know how you make out, ok?

They do have it, its the very first one on the page. but why pay 20 bucks more then you have to. Ok on my camcorder, under the HD on the opposite side of the lcd screen it says 1080P 30 FPS /720 60 FPS. Also the SKU numbers are different for mine, and theirs.

On theirs it says 1080P under the HD, I don't think its the same camera.

No I took a look at the one at BB....I bailed because there are other ones that I saw and to satisfy myself with a purchase I have to research......if you know me, like other people do, you know that after I buy a gadget or an electronic toy...I always coulda, shoulda...it kills me and it drives me crazy......the Apitek for the price it's a good deal...to mess around with an inexpensive camcorder the price is right.....I'm not out of the market yet.....I know me I'll get it anyway.

I also found this one it's much less expensive and it has received good reviews.....I guess it all depends on what one wants out of a camera...

Thank you, it's nice having more friends like you Gymbrat...right now I'm on hold from buying any more gadgets..since my other half is panicking over the economy right now...and if I bring home anything..I'll have to find some fast talkin'...then again I may leave it at my Cali apt. and when I bring it home...someday..I'll explain it's the company's.......but I do want to see some of your art work with your cam first....

I can't say that I blame her Sprkeng, she is right to be concerned. I too will scale back my purchases, what's nice is that I only use cash.
