What is HD?

Hi... I'm a new user and i'm using the A-HD T7 pro.. When i set my flash settings to 'forced', the flash only activates when i take a picture.. However, when i'm in video mode, the flash doesn't activate even though the flash mode is still in 'forced' setting.. Is there something wrong with my videocam?

Aiptek camcorders
I had a cheap Aiptek camcorder once. I shot in HD and really wasn't that bad. It was easy to use and had great HD.
