Default Sony HDR FX1000é vs Panasonic AG-HVX200a

Hello,

I'm trying to find a new camera. I have used my Sony HDR FX1 for 2years now and I'm thinking of an upgrade.
I'm looking for a new HD camera. I have heard a lot about Panasonic that it's so good but I'm still thinking that I still want to stick to Sony cameras.
Which one is better FX1000é or HVX200a? I would add that i'm kind of oldschool, so i want to stick to miniDV and i don't give a c*ap about that PS2 and memorysticks. Just i want a review about the whole picture. Quality and so on.

Thank you.

What exactly do you want to know? They're both very good cams. The FX is tape only but you can add a CF card unit to it; it attaches to the accessory shoe. The FX's big brother, the Z5, has more features and the CF card unit snaps directly to the back, and this combo would cost about the same as the Panny, allowing you to shoot to both tape and card (like the Panny) but without the expense of P2 cards.
