Default Canon HG20 to Panasonic G Series Plasma 54" - need cable recommendation

I wasn't sure which section to ask this question. I have my Panasonic plasma working fine. My Canon HG20 works fine. I got up enough courage to attempt to use the HDMI interface. I bought the wrong HDMI connection. Apparantly, they sell an adapter at Best Buy for $30. I decided to return the $60 cable and check here first. I assume they make a direct camcorder to TV HDMI cable. I see them online for all kinds of prices. Since these are new products, I'm sure somebody will have a recommended place to purchase the cable. I believe it will just look like another input source to the TV that I could control with the TV remote. UPC Universal.
Thanks for your help. I'm probably making this too difficult.

It should be a Type "C" cable, with the mini end for the vid camera. Read your manual to make sure. If it is Type C - purchase here - http://www.monoprice.com/products/su...02&cp_id=10242

Thank you. The manual didn't say a whole lot, but it certainly looks like the cable. The price is certainly low enough compared to the wrong HDMI cable that I bought for $60. I will call them in the morning.
