Does anyone have this tv? Am I the only one? Here are my settings.

Contrast 65
Brightness 44
Sharpness 15
Color 37
Tint 50
Backlight 8
Color Tone normal
Digital NR off
Gamma 0

I hope this helps someone.

Long time since I've had the time to post....

Set the black and white levels to the best of your ability with any test patterns available.

Sorry to report that the AV model is not a regza panel and does not have the rudimentary controls in user that that the upper tier panels have. (Blue/green gains only)

Does that make it a bad tv? Have you ever calibrated one before?

Not at all! Sorry if you thought that from my post.

By doing the above and viewing the display from a head on position, you'll most likely get many years of rewarding pictures.

As for the calibration, I'm not sure that the standard tosh SM entrance will work, but I'll give it a shot and get back to you with any pertinent results.

Havn't forgot about ya,

Just not had the time as yet to check if the standard tosh entry or if the lcd protocols work.

I was beginning to believe I was the only one who has this set. How do you like it? Here are my new settings after using the blu-ray DVE disc.

Contrast 65
Brightness 45
Sharpness 15
Color 28
Tint 0
Backlight 8
Color Tone normal
Digital NR off
Gamma 0

Hope this helps.

Well I tried all of the LCD, DLP and rptv codes available to ISF techs and have not found a combo that works. In doing so I noticed that these are not "regza" displays ( Toshiba's moniker for TV's actually built by them.

This means that nearly any producer of displays codes might actually work..... so those that have tried and found success.... POST HERE
