The best way to calibrate your TV in your viewing environment is to purchase a calibration disc by Avia, DVE or Spears and Munsil. Using this in your DVD player you will be able to adjust your TV to it's peak performance. Make sure to adjust each input (that is plug the DVD player into each input) and adjust them accordingly.
Hope this helps.
