The Visio's are indeed global as to the input side, iirc.

Not a problem and in some cases preferable for simplicity's sake.

Chief, if you want to experiment with the RGB sliders that affect gray scale, put up the crossed ten step gray scale pattern. Darken the room some and let your eyes get used to the light. Use the "custom" setting and adjust to the best of your ability, the RGB controls to diminish the presence of any predominant color. You want to end up with gray. Not reddish gray or bluish.... just gray, from black to white. A quick trip to any good camera store can provide you with a D65 grayscale card. This really helps the DIY'er.

Have fun.

Phoned Vizio today and Tech Support told me that all Vizio sets Inputs share the same settings. The differance between the BD Input( HDMI-2) and TWC HD Channels (HDMI-1) is so slight, it's not worth bothering mucking with the settings.

I have my TVs set up for night time viewing. I wish the TVs had the ability to store a couple of settings for each Input for Day/Night viewing and be able to flip-flop the settings with a touch of the button on the remote.

Looks like I'll be hunting for a Camera Store for the D-65 Grey Scale card, if I can find one in NC..................
