Default Super Deal at Best Buy on HD-A35, A30, A3 and A20

Just went to my local BB and they had ALL HD DVD players on clearance for $49.99. I bought an A35, several A30's an A3 and an A20. They still had about 20 left. WOW, what a deal. And all were new in the box except for the A20 but it did come with everything.

I wonder if this is a nationwide deal.. Because I just went to my local BB to check the HD DVD player deals and they had no A35s, and the A30 was still $130.

I bet it's local and depends heavily on the inventory situation at each store. Maybe some managers are getting more pressure to move them than others.

Great deal but it is not at all stores. I checked at the store close to me and there is no such deal.

If they still had A35s for $49, why would you buy anything but?

Default Best Buy website

I see now that BB no longer is showing HD players on line. Makes me want to go to local store to see if they are having a massive clearance.
