I hate Blu Ray and Sony!

Sony messes up everything. They steal the support of HDDVD. They screw up the pattern of DVD. They make retarded statements. They go around saying they sale so many Blu Rays when they have only sold them in Japan. Sony just stand down and let HD WIN. There is know way you will in. Youre marketing is dumb. Your whole thing was PS3 was the cheapest Blu Player. But now its only going to be $600. I could get a Samsung for $400. Stop stealing movies and hury up and go out of buisness you morons. Stop lying abvot the number of movies you sold. You ruined HD sales at Walmart so now I have to drive to get movies. SCREW YOU SONY!!!

You need to calm down and realize it is JUST a movie format war, and not the end of the world. IMO.

You "hate" Sony..?? Hmm.. well tell me - does that mean you hate
the CD format which Sony and Philips co-developed years ago? Do you also hate the DVD format which Sony (I think) had a lot to do with. They worked on the original "red" book formats didn't they? Do you also hate the S-video connector? (I've read that Sony was involved with this also). Do you also hate the Trinitron TV which won international awards for it's excellence?? It was so good, other manufacturers tried hard to copy the aperature grille technology. And now, blue laser technology has arrived and opens the door to unprecedented storage for the consumer. I guess you hate this as well??

HDDVD came out first and uses blue laser technology. I also dont need 50 gig disks, the utimate piracy device. Sony worked with Philips on on a multimedia compact dsk. Not a DVD. They opposed that as well until the mid 90s.

If you don't have a complete Sony ONLY HT setup throughout, why is that?

Is it possible, just possible, that Sony does not always make the best products at the best price points, for you and maybe they don't REALLY know what is best for you?

Most of my components are Sony brand but its not because I prefer Sony, I just wanted compatibility without a lot of issue with my budget!
