Winx Club: il Segreto del Regno Perduro is the first Winx Club movie based from the popular Italian animated series, which is also very popular in the US. This is also available on DVD in Italy but has not yet been released in the US. There is no Blu-ray version either. Targeted for younger audiences (primarily girls) I nevertheless found the movie to be very funny and entertaining (after all, these girls are pretty hot ) For example, the Winx girls (6 in all, each with there own magical power) enter an old castle and one of them announces "anybody home?" upon which a score of castle guards emerges from the walls, prompting her to continue "anybody else?". It's all in Italian, but since many words are similar to Spanish or English, I was able to understand at least some of it from reading the subs.
The real beauty in Winx Club however lies in the PQ. I have never seen any movie look as good as this one, it's an eye candy feast. If there were one movie that I would recommend watching solely on eye candy virtue, this would be it. Awesome clarity and color vibrancy and plenty of detail. They really did a good job with this. Audio quality is excellent as well, with a DTS-HD master audio track and several very nice songs in the movie showing it off.
All in all I'm very happy to own this and would recommend it based solely on the amazing PQ. It's that good.
