which dvd player should i buy??

plz suggest me a good DVD Player which can play nearly all video formats especially avi files with high resolution(720 ps & 1020 ps),mp4,mpeg,vob,flv....

This is the wrong forum, there probably isn't an HD DVD player that will do what you want. I think an Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player will come closest if you are willing to pay the price. If not, there may be some budget players that will cover most of the various formats. Ask the question in the Blu-ray player forum. I don't think you want just a DVD player as those generally don't play anything coded as HD resolution.

I suggest, you should look for a Blu-Ray Player rather than a DVD player. But yes, if you are low on budget and looking for an instrument that can almost play all file formats then a DVD player could be a good option. You can check out Philips-DVP3828/94.

Buy a good quality and branded DVD player with all facilities because some VCDs and DVDs have less features and giving less service guarantee.

buy the one which supports MKV playback... samsung have a range of few decent onces for good price

If your DVD player cannot play AVI it doesn't matter , you can use a AVI to DVD converter , that is an useful tool , and easy to work . You can try it yourself .So buy what you like is ok.

Yes, I also suggest Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player, it has nice video and audio output, at least for me.

+1 Oppo is the absolute numberb 1 player I have seen yet. PQ, audio wise will do almost everything you throw at it. You just have to get past the price, it is an investment. highest resale value of any!

DAPlayer is my first choice. It is free and runs perfectly on my PC computer. Besides, its interface is very sleek and simple, as well as deliver excellent video quality.
