HD DVDs and Players Question

Understand that me be bumping an old thread,,,but the biggest difference is going to be in your audio equipment. Crappy sound system = crappy sound. Me advice is to spend as much, if not double, on your sound system as you do your tv.

A true home Theater is as much about the sound quality as it is picture quality.

No doubt. With the advanced codecs that we are presented with, many consumers are doing themselves a disservice by not taking advantage of the HD sound. Me guess is that 90% of consumers buy a tv and a BD player and are impressed with the picture without realizing the other, immersive part of the experience, the audio.
